The Mocha Autism Network has established a grant program to support transitional aged youth thriving with a neurodivergence in acquiring technology to celebrate and support their success.
Eligibility:
Eligibility:
- Referral by a leader of a designated College/Career pathway program
- The recipient must be a transitional-aged youth (13-29 years of age) participating in a College or Career pathway program.
- medically diagnosed or Self-identified as neurodiverse (examples include, but are not limited to: Autism Spectrum Conditions, Dyslexia, Attention/Deficit/ Hyperactivity traits, or other intellectual differences).
- A demonstrated need for technological support to overcome academic/career challenges related to neurodiversity.
Recommended by community elders, 2024-2025 grants will be given to young people referred by leaders in the following communities:
Cal State East Bay (formerly Cal State Hayward) Diversity & Inclusion Student Center
Chabot College
San Francisco State University Black Unity Center
East Oakland Youth Development Center
Center for Urban Excellence
